SEO is the business of ranking organically (naturally, on merit) on search engines, for keywords and phrases related to your business. Usually, around 10 organic listings appear on the results page.
PPC
PPC is a generic term for paid advertising. You can pay ‘per click’ or ‘per 1000 impressions’ (PPM), but PPC is often used as a catchall for referring to any sort of paid ads. Ads are usually found at the top and bottom of a results page.
