Retreat to the Hills

The Retreat Barn is nestled in the tranquil setting of the Malvern Hills. It is luxury accomodation for holiday-goers who are looking for a quieter and more relaxed environment, getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Being an existing customer of ours, the Retreat team asked us to give them a hand with their new business by creating a website to showcase their barn, attractions and hospitality options. They also wanted the ability to be able to develop the website themselves in the future should any more services be added to their belt.

We created a website using a modern palette of grey & white with peppermint accents. We also utilised a large amount of our clients’ stunning photos of the barn & surroundings as we believed that is what would sell the Retreat Barn to visitors. When creating new pages with lots of content, we included menus that scroll down to a certain spot on a page to make it easier for the end user to find what they were looking for. We also added plenty of CTA’s under each paragraph so that any visitors would not miss an opportunity to click “Book”.

Most importantly, we made sure that the build was elegant, but simple enough for our client to be able to develop this further. We created templates for each page, and gave training to explain how to edit/add features on the site.
