Hiplok
by Nettl of Leamington Spa
Hiplok designed and developed the world’s first wearable bike lock. They came to us with their existing website which sold a number of products online, however; the ordering process was not intuitive and often very slow. They felt the style of the site was looking very dated. They requested a site whereby they could manage their online product range themselves and sell via a solution that was easy to maintain, and provided the flexibility to change content and layout to suit the developing product line-up.
The site is built using WordPress combined with WooCommerce with extensive customisation to fulfil the clients brief.
Functions included: currency display and integrated payment gateway via PayPal and SagePay – displaying products with the ability to switch between GBP, US Dollar and Euros; variable products and customer reviews; full cart and checkout functionality; admin area for processing and managing orders which is linked via an API integration to the distributors and fulfilment house; customer account and order history back office with email notifications.
The customer is loving the new site with it’s advanced ordering capabilities and their in-house design team is really using the powerful flexibility that the new Content Management System brings to continuously enhance the content.
